North Palace sets the stage for showcasing the very best of Northern Chinese cuisine. Designed to engage guests on arrival – the sights and sounds of roast duck from Beijing, lamb from Inner Mongolia and flat breads from Xinjiang – all combine to ignite the senses. These classic dishes are prepared in a traditional duck oven, an open fire pit and rotisserie grills that are on display in the heart of the restaurant. Taking cues from the aristocratic residences of Northern China, the elegant North Palace features rich interiors of red and gold, with auspicious symbols of good fortune throughout.
